Control Knobs for Resilience

Roll up your sleeves and do what you can to improve our future through making our present more sustainable, regenerative, kind and connected. In these uncertain times, it's easy to feel helpless. Climate change, political division, economic instability - the problems seem too big to solve. But we each have "control knobs" - things we can actually influence. ## What Can We Control? ### Where Our Food Comes From Every purchase is a vote. Buying from regenerative farms supports the kind of agriculture that heals rather than harms. ### How We Treat Our Land Whether you have 200 acres or a backyard garden, you can build soil health instead of depleting it. ### Our Relationships Building strong local connections creates resilience against whatever challenges come. ### Our Skills Learning to grow food, preserve harvests, and repair things makes us more self-reliant. ## Why This Matters Resilience isn't about surviving alone in a bunker. It's about: - Strong communities that support each other - Local food systems that don't depend on global supply chains - Skills and knowledge passed between generations - Land that can sustain us indefinitely ## Take Action Pick one control knob and turn it: - Buy from a local farm this week - Plant something edible - Learn to cook a new dish from scratch - Meet a neighbor you don't know Small actions, repeated consistently, create big change. *Nourish your body, heal the soil!*
