Frequently Asked Questions

How are your animals raised?

Our animals are raised on pasture using regenerative farming practices. Lambs graze on open pastures, pigs forage in wooded areas, and chickens have access to fresh pasture daily. We never use hormones, antibiotics, or artificial growth promoters.

What does 'pasture-raised' mean?

Pasture-raised means our animals spend their lives outdoors on pasture, with access to shelter when needed. They eat a natural diet supplemented with non-GMO feed when necessary, and engage in natural behaviors like grazing, rooting, and foraging.

How is the meat packaged?

All our meats are vacuum-sealed for freshness and frozen at peak quality. This packaging keeps the meat fresh during shipping and allows for long-term freezer storage.

How long does shipping take?

Local deliveries are typically completed within 1-3 days. Cold shipping orders are shipped Monday-Wednesday to ensure they arrive before the weekend, usually within 2-4 business days.

How do I store the meat?

Our meats arrive frozen and should be stored in your freezer immediately. Vacuum-sealed meats can be stored frozen for up to 12 months. Thaw in the refrigerator for 24-48 hours before cooking.

Do you offer subscriptions?

Yes! We offer monthly subscription boxes with curated selections of our pasture-raised meats. Subscribers save money and never run out of quality meat.

Can I visit the farm?

We love having visitors! Please contact us to schedule a farm visit. We also attend local farmers markets throughout the season.

What is your return policy?

Due to the perishable nature of our products, we cannot accept returns. However, if you have any issues with your order, please contact us immediately and we'll make it right.
